GARAGE SALE POLICY

Garage sales are permitted by homeowners in Stone Ridge.

Homes with front loading garage doors require the items to be sold are to be placed inside the garage. Homes with side mount garage doors require the items be placed in the garage and may also extend outside on the driveway but not to extend beyond the front line of the home. In either setting, items cannot be placed down the driveway to the road or into the yard.

Garage or yard sale signs continue to be totally prohibited.

POLITICAL SIGN POLICY

On July 14, 2020 the Stone Ridge Homeowner Board established a sign policy interpretation that allows each resident to place one small yard sign approximately 24" by 18" when specific needs present themselves, such as an impending local or national election. Please note that the sign must be placed in the landscaping immediately against the foundation of the home. On December 7, 2021, the Stone Ridge Homeowner Board amended, that going forward, 1 political sign may be put up not more than 30 days prior to an election and taken down 1 day after the election. The size and placement remain the same.

Fencing Information

FENCING INFORMATION

No fencing, hedge, wall or enclosure of any kind for any purpose shall be erected, placed or suffered to remain upon any lot, except a fence that is required by law for an in-ground pool. In any event, the fence for an in-ground swimming pool shall not be erected until the written consent of the Developer or Association is first obtained pursuant to Article II, and such fence shall be the minimum height and circumference.

Garbage Cans

GARBAGE CAN POLICY

Garbage cans (1.8 Article I Use of Land) must be stored within the attached garage. Garbage cans may be placed in the front of the house for collection after 5:00 PM on the day before the scheduled day of collection. Trash containers must be placed back into the garage at the end of collection day.

MAILBOXES INFORMATION

The following information is being provided to lot owners who want or need to replace their mailbox. The SRHOA Rights and Restrictions say that the mailbox should be located in accordance with USPS Guidelines and replaced with the same type, look and style of the original mailbox.
