Q. What is the purpose of the Homeowners' Association?

A. The primary purpose of the Association is to preserve and protect the attractiveness, character and value of the Stone Ridge development for the benefit of all members. To accomplish this goal the Association is responsible to enforce the rights and restrictions for the subdivision as recorded in the Plat Rights and Restrictions documents and to establish such other rules and standards as necessary.  In addition, the Association is responsible to maintain certain common areas (entrances and cul-de-sacs) for the benefit of all homeowners and their guests.

Q. What does the Homeowners' Association do with the dues money it collects?

A. The Association uses dues money to maintain the common areas and to make improvements to the subdivision.  In addition, it can use dues money on behalf of the members to represent their interest as required.

Q. What do I need to do to get approval for a change or addition to my property?

A. All request for changes or additions need to made in writing using the Architectural Review Submittal Forms that can be found under the Forms section of this website.

Q. Why do I have to get approval for improvements I want to make to my property?

A. Gaining approval ensures that your changes are not in conflict with the restrictions of the subdivision which helps maintain the integrity of the subdivision, the value of your home and facilitates and easy sale of your property in the future.

Q. How can I keep golfers off my property?

A. Golfers are instructed that yards are private property and they should not enter private property.  If a golfer comes onto your property, please contact the Pro Shop at 419-353-2582.  It is helpful if you can give them the cart number.
